We are seeking a talented individual to join our Investments team at Mercer. This role will be based in Sydney. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
The Business Support Coordinator will deliver comprehensive administrative support to facilitate the smooth operation of the business. This role includes coordinating a range of business activities, providing billing support, meeting room bookings, travel arrangements, meetings and events support, and offering executive assistance. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative and organisational abilities, a keen attention to detail, knowledge of accounts administration, and excellent communication skills.
We will count on you to:
- Support executives with various administrative tasks and projects, including invoicing, purchase orders, scheduling meetings, booking rooms, travel arrangements, and formatting presentations and reports.
- Liaise and build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business, such as facilities, finance, IT, and marketing, to ensure the smooth delivery of day-to-day activities.
- Expertly navigate our systems to process requisitions and invoices efficiently.
- Maintain efficient electronic filing systems for quick access to critical information as required.
- Develop knowledge of billing and company policies to provide information support to executives when needed.
What you need to have:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in an administrative, billing, accounts receivable, or similar role.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software.
