This is a remote position.
Our client s seeking a Business Analyst to join our team and support the implementation a new system for our customer. In this role, you will work with stakeholders, Product Owners, users, and product teams to understand and document the customer's business requirements. Success will require a systematic approach to researching and analyzing requirements, defining those requirements as epics and user stories to feed an Agile workflow, and assisting with prioritization of features based on impact to the customer's organization.Requirements
In this role you must:
Analyze a wide variety of different business operations to identify opportunities for improvement and gaps
Apply Lean, Theory of Constraints, Six Sigma, or another systematic approach to prioritizing work based on business impact
Take ownership of the requirements analysis process to ensure that research tasks and story development are completed ahead of scheduled implementation based on product roadmap
Work with Product Owner, Scrum Master, and the product team to develop succinct hypothesis/benefits statements and acceptance criteria
Provide guidance on system design through communicating processes, information requirements, and impact on customer
Develop and maintain process models using BPMN 2.0 standards
Support test development and execution
Possess good communication, analytical, and writing skills
Be able to obtain a Public Trust security clearance
Qualifications:
Bachelor's with 2 - 5 years (or commensurate experience)
Required Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business field
Experience with requirements gathering and development
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Experience using Jira, Rally, or similar software
Experience analyzing logistics or asset management processes
Experience working in a Scrum environment
Experience supporting government agencies and/or active Public Trust clearance
