Now we are hiring a new Operations Specialist for Shipping team with customs analyst skills
Who we are looking for a candidate with:
- English: starting from B2 level with the ability for communication and understanding instructions
- Excel skills (intermediate level), if you have worked with Google Sheets - even better
- As a plus would be experience in customs analytics: product analysis according to the customs system HS codes
- Previous experience in Supply Chain is a must
- Great troubleshooting skills and experience
- Experience with e-commerce platforms
- Previous experience or knowledge of lean methodology is a plus
- Love of numbers and mathematics
- Great computer skills, curiosity to learn new apps
- Quick learner, being able to multitask and work with various tasks throughout the day
- Loves accuracy and has a high level of attention to details
- Strong self-management and organizational skills, being able to define priorities
- Advanced problem-solving skills, ability to quickly research, analyze and find a solution to any issue
- Proactive and driven, with high follow-through, respect for deadlines
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with other departments
- Strong background and skills in documenting information
- Result oriented and motivated by seeing the result
- Readiness for routine work (to create shipment customs documentation, checking all the details)
- Understanding of transport rules of different categories is a plus
Requirements
As a part of a company, your responsibilities will be:
- Working with Amazon platform (and other E-markets): creating shipments, tracking, troubleshooting
- Contacting marketplace support to find a way to implement the necessary corrections on listings or attributes, if related to the shipping process
- Check the forums and social media group to look for the possible solutions for issues
- Working with Data Catalog and Inventory management system: updating, checking
- Daily and close coordination with the team members and other departments (research, finance, logistics etc)
- Working with the logistics & warehouse team : providing information about inbound orders, checking composed shipments, solving problems, finding discrepancies and mistakes, providing with the final shipping documents
- Creating shipments with delivery companies and export documentation.
- Daily reporting of Operations KPIs, monitoring monthly results with the monthly KPIs
- Strategising and implementing new and efficient methodology that improves the overall operation
- Being a key team member in the department and the company to help in growth and expansion projects.
- Working with the programming team to suggest areas that can be improved based on manual practise of work in the department or process.
- Identifying bottlenecks and forecasting potential issues well ahead of time
- Working on your own quarterly projects related to your work, growth and company goals

The job is full time, 40 hours a week. Initially, work hours should be similar to the Head of Operations, for easier communication and training.
