Job Summary
VSolvit is seeking a motivated and versatile Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. This position is ideal for professionals who excel in bridging business needs with technical solutions while driving Agile practices. The successful candidate will serve as a key liaison between stakeholders and development teams, ensuring project success through clear requirements gathering, effective facilitation, and Agile leadership.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements
Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications
Create process flows, use cases, and user stories to ensure clarity and alignment
Conduct gap analysis and recommend solutions to optimize processes
Work closely with Product Owners to prioritize and manage backlogs
Support system testing, user acceptance testing, and defect resolution
Deliver presentations and detailed reports to stakeholders, ensuring they remain informed of project progress
Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
Coach the team on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and the importance of continuous improvement
Remove impediments and shield the team from external distractions to ensure productivity
Track and report on team metrics such as velocity, cycle time, and burndown charts
Foster collaboration and open communication between team members and stakeholders
Ensure adherence to Agile best practices and promote a culture of accountability
Partner with Product Owners to ensure the backlog is well-defined and prioritized
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
Solid understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
Proven experience in requirements gathering and documentation
Experience with SharePoint
Experience with Power Platform Capabilities
Experience with Functional Testing and Test Documentation (Test Cases / Test Scripts)
Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills
Familiarity with tools like Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management software
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to work independently and solve problems
Self-starter with the ability to identify what tasks need to be prioritized based on the impact(s) to the environment and team
DOD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain
Must be US Citizen
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
Experience with enterprise-level software development or system implementations
Familiarity with business process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart)
Knowledge of data analysis and reporting tool
