As we expand our presence in the United States, we are seeking a dynamic and proactive Commercial Executive to support our Chief Commercial Officer in driving venue acquisition, securing sponsorships, and managing corporate client relationships.
Job Summary: The Commercial Executive will play a crucial role in supporting the Chief Commercial Officer in all commercial activities related to our events in the United States. This position requires a highly motivated and organized individual with excellent communication and negotiation skills. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing multiple tasks, building relationships with various stakeholders, and contributing to the overall growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Venue Acquisition:
- Assist the CCO in identifying and securing suitable venues for our themed events across the United States.
- Conduct market research to identify potential venues and evaluate their suitability.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with venue operators to ensure optimal conditions for our events.
- Develop and maintain relationships with potential sponsors and corporate partners.
- Create compelling sponsorship proposals and pitch decks to attract sponsors.
- Negotiate sponsorship agreements, ensuring alignment with company objectives and event requirements.
- Engage with potential corporate clients interested in hiring us for private shows.
- Understand client needs and tailor proposals to meet their specific requirements.
- Manage client relationships from initial contact through to event execution and post-event follow-up.
- Work closely with the CCO to develop and implement commercial strategies.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure seamless event delivery.
- Provide regular updates and reports to the CCO on commercial activities and progress.
- Assist in developing and executing strategies for market expansion in the United States.
- Identify new business opportunities and potential markets for growth.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a commercial or business development role, preferably within the events or entertainment industry.
- Proven track record in venue acquisition, sponsorship sales, and client management.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and CRM software.
- Willingness to work flexible hours to align with U.S. and UK operating hours.
