The Compensation Analyst will support the compensation team in crafting and executing pay initiatives that complement our company's strategic objectives. This role will bring a sound understanding of compensation principles and best practices, along with experience conducting market analyses, participating in salary surveys, and applying regulatory compliance knowledge to our compensation systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market analysis, including participating in salary surveys and researching compensation trends and best practices to ensure our compensation strategy remains competitive.
  • Analyze job descriptions to determine appropriate salary grades, conducting job evaluations and contributing to job classification systems.
  • Assist in the design and administration of compensation programs such as base pay structures, incentive plans, bonus programs, and salary adjustments.
  • Collaborate with HR and management to provide compensation-related support and guidance on pay decisions, policy interpretations, and job evaluations.
  • Develop and maintain compensation-related reports and metrics to aid in decision-making and to ensure program effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.
  • Recommend process improvements for compensation programs and practices to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide support for compensation projects, such as program rollouts and updates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in compensation analysis, design, or administration.
  • Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis, modeling, and scenario planning.
  • Knowledge of compensation fundamentals and best practices, as well as federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with HR team members and other departments.
