This position primarily involves a hybrid work schedule - working remotely: Monday & Friday / on site: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Primary Responsibilities:
This is first and foremost a leadership role with the responsibility and oversight of our team members on the Institution Life (IL) Compensation Team. This team is responsible for the management and payment of commissions and service fees to our Institutional Life products as well as our Third-Party Distribution (TPD) products. Areas of responsibilities include people development and managing the team’s workflow. This role requires close alignment with the New Business and Inforce Service functions and requires strong customer service in support of our IL and TPD producers, brokers, and servicers. Effective communication is required between this team and the producer offices as well as internal business partners. The individual will need to drive our business forward with innovative and creative problem solving. This individual will also champion change to enhance and/or streamline processes by working alongside our technology partners and team members.
Responsibilities for this role include:
- Providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to professionals.
- Prioritize team workload to ensure all commitments to our clients are met in a timely manner.
- Manage relationships with internal field directors, sales support teams as well as producers and brokers.
- Quality review the data inputs from your team.
- Quality review and sign off on disbursements.
- Maintain procedures for all transactions falling within team’s discipline.
- Support the team by reviewing complex questions and providing timely answers.
- Proactively identify risks within the organization and propose solutions for mitigation.
- Interact with Accounting Department, Relationship Management, Client Care, TPD and Technology partners.
- Organize and facilitate training for direct reports.
- Ability to assist team with questions.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task without supervision.
- Support business improvement initiatives.

- Experience within the COLI and BOLI industry preferred.
- Experience with insurance commissions preferred.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree with 5-10 years equivalent related experience.
- FINRA Series 6 designation must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
- Professional designation or working toward a designation such as FLMI; obtain Loma 1 and 2 within 12 months of hire.

Salary range: $55,000-$92,500
