The Opportunity
Atomi is looking for an exceptional content design leader to cultivate and shape our educational content design from start to end. As part of our world-class team, you’ll play a critical role in supporting thousands of students and teachers to adopt, use and learn from our educational content product, helping us achieve our mission to help unlock the world’s potential by enhancing the way we teach and learn.
What you'll do...
Leading the Learning Innovation Hub
- Own the end-to-end Content Design process by leading the Learning and Innovation Hub as the go-to team responsible for driving the development and improvement of content products.
- Lead and mentor a Content Design Instructor who supports new team members through content design training, providing guidance and support to help them succeed.
- Motivate and inspire, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- If necessary, manage performance concerns and escalations by providing constructive and clear feedback to support improvement and growth.
Resource Building and Management
- Uphold, shape and evolve content standards, voice and tone guidelines, and other key frameworks that scale and elevate the content experience to ensure accessibility and use over time.
- Develop and manage extensive guides and documentation of Atomi’s content design processes and practices, ensuring alignment with information architecture principles.
- Design training programs to support implementing Content Design initiatives across a large and diverse team of content writers and designers.
- Develop and uphold Atomi’s editorial policy and ensure its implementation across the content design team through training and upskilling efforts.
Collaboration and Driver of a Learning Culture
- Provide meticulous feedback as and where necessary to ensure content writers and designers create work that is on brand, fit-for-purpose and at a high-quality publication standard.
- Collaborate in course design and product development processes to provide content design solutions.
- Oversee the effective implementation of product improvements in content design and authoring activities. Ensure that the team fully adopts and applies these changes, maximising their impact to enhance customer satisfaction and team performance.
- Uplift and uphold team culture and attitudes towards content design approaches and processes. Ensure alignment across the team and clarity of vision on what we do and why in our content design.
