The RoleWe are seeking an experienced and strategic Controller to lead accounting operations. This is a high growth environment and the role will be instrumental in implementing and managing best-in-class financial systems and processes, as well as ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations as we scale. You will partner closely with FP&A and leadership team members to drive visibility into company financial KPIS and will be key to our success as we grow and become the decision making fabric for the construction industry.
What You'll Do
- Own the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and identify opportunities for tax savings
- Oversee annual audits and ensure adherence to financial regulations
- Be responsible for quote-to-cash, optimizing the billing and collections process
- Manage financial operations including but not limited to AR, AP, Payroll, Corporate Cards, T&E
- Design and implement effective internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Coordinate with FP&A to produce forecast vs. actual reporting
What You'll Bring to the Team
- 10+ years of experience
- 3+ years of experience working in a Big 4 accounting firm
- CPA certification
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and US Tax regulations
- Experience working with a SaaS company
- First hand experience managing an audit
- Experience supporting fundraising
