About This Role:Role Overview: Favor TechConsulting (FTC) a subsidiary of Tria Federal (Tria) is seeking We are seeking a motivated, mission-oriented Database Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong development skills and be proficient in AWS tools and environments. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our database systems to ensure high performance, security, and reliability.

Responsibilities:
    • Design and implement database solutions in the AWS environment.
    • Optimize and tune database performance.
    • Ensure data security and integrity.
    • Collaborate with software developers to integrate database systems with applications.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve database issues

The “Need-to-Have” Skills & Qualifications:
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in database engineering
    • Hands-on experience with AWS RDS, DynamoDB, and other relevant AWS services
    • Familiarity with at least one programming language for database development (e.g., Python, Java, or similar)
    • Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
    • Strong understanding of database security best practices.
    • Familiarity with SQL and database design
    • Proficient in Java languages
    • Experience working with related areas, such as HL7, Cache, MSSQL or Oracle, and XML
    • JIRA Agile project management tool
    • Git/GitHub repository
Professional Certifications:
AWS Certified Database Specialty, Azure Database Administrator, etcEducation:BA/BS in Computer Science or related field
Clearance: Must be a U.S. Citizen; Can obtain a Public Trust clearance; DHA IT-2
The “Nice-to-Have” Skills & Qualifications:
