We’re looking for a talented Design Intern who can help us scale our design efforts for Leland. As a Design Intern at Leland, you will flex your skills between product design & graphic design to help build a world-class product while supporting the Leland brand by creating digital marketing assets.

Responsibilities
Partner with product managers, engineers, and our community team to design new features for the Leland product
Design end-to-end flows and experiences that are simple, intuitive, and elegant
Create user flows, wireframes, low-fidelity prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups
Contribute to the company and product style guide
Design/layout of social brand assets, PDF documents, and other digital marketing assets
Partner with our growth team to help design & polish presentation documents
Clearly communicate your design decisions and the thinking behind them to the team and other stakeholders
Qualifications
1-2 years of experience in all phases of the product design process including user research, copywriting, wire-framing, prototyping, visual design, interaction design, and usability testing
1-2 years of graphic design experience
Experience with modern design tools (primarily Figma)
An intuitive eye for customer needs beyond the obvious
A strong eye for graphic design, layout, hierarchy, and typography
Experience moving quickly with limited resources and information
Experience designing mobile-responsive web applications
Strong communication skills and an ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners
A scrappy and curious executor who is biased towards action
You’re excited about a hybrid working model, and ready to collaborate with a distributed team (we’re in the Bay Area, Utah, and Los Angeles)
