We’re looking for a talented intern to help us (1) execute efficiently, (2) develop thoughtful strategies, and (3) explore new company opportunities as you make a tangible impact on Leland’s growth.
If you are passionate about helping people reach education/career goals, interested in growth and operations at a high-growth early-stage startup, and have experience in consulting, finance, strategy, growth and/or ops, we’d love to chat.
This is a paid internship and would require 20-40+ hrs per week. You will start at $15/hr.
Responsibilities
Develop and refine growth playbooks and strategies for different categories
Plan and execute (the most important step!) the growth playbooks and strategies (e.g. Events, Word of Mouth, etc.)
Test, innovate, and try new things to help Leland constantly improve at growth efforts
Partner closely with a talented team of executors (from BCG, Bain & Company, Uber, LinkedIn, etc.) to drive real growth for the business
Use data and analytics to determine the most effective and profitable marketing channels
Own projects end-to-end. You will have support, but you will need to be the sole owner and driver of your initiative
Contribute to our team culture by fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment
Qualifications
1-2 prior internships in growth, finance, operations, startups or consulting
Strong analytical background and experience making data-driven decisions
Ability to execute and think strategically, building systems that can be scaled
Enjoys moving fast, testing new ideas, and developing creative growth strategies
A strong communicator who is eager to learn something new every day and be part of a team
A scrappy and curious executor who it biased towards action
