Your Responsibilities:
This role offers high autonomy, empowering you to shape and guide our approach to DevOps administration, development, product administration, and cost management. In this exciting opportunity, you will:
Build infrastructure for large-scale data and video streaming platforms, starting from the ground up.
Manage the deployment of R&D systems, enabling wider engineering teams to innovate and iterate.
Streamline development processes to reduce complexity and time required for deploying and maintaining services.
Drive improvements in security, enhancing visibility of security incidents and reducing the risk of compromise.
Collaborate with development teams to provide expertise in infrastructure management and ensure the best possible solutions are built.
Share ideas and techniques across development teams, contributing to and learning from the team as a whole.
What We Need From You:
To excel in this role, you should have experience with:
Amazon Web Services (AWS), including IAM, Load Balancers, VPC, S3, Route53, EC2, ECS.
CI/CD pipelines, security principles, Docker, and containerisation.
Ansible, Terraform, and version control systems.
Message brokers such as AMQ, Pulsar, RabbitMQ.
Desirable Experience:
Package repositories (Artifactory), observability tools (DataDog, Grafana, Elastic), microservice architecture, high availability setups, and databases/datastores.
