- Lead the digital design process and champion best practices, ensuring the development team builds products that meet business objectives and user needs.
- Serve as the voice of the customer and stakeholders.
- Understand user needs, preferences, and priorities, and effectively communicate these to the development team.
- Ensure optimal product usability and user experience.
- Create and manage the product backlog, prioritising features, user stories, and tasks.
- Work with the development team to select items from the product backlog for upcoming sprints.
- Set the direction and vision for the product.
- Define the development roadmap and communicate goals and objectives to the team.
Requirements
- Degree in Design or similar
- Proven experience as a Digital Product Designer
- Previous leadership experience, with a track record of leading and inspiring design teams to achieve excellence
- UI/UX design principles
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skill
- Excellent communication, collaboration and presentation skills
- Passion for design innovation, creativity and continuous learning
