Jetpack is looking for an experienced Marketing leader to create and implement strategies to acquire, convert, and monetize customers. We want this candidate to have deep marketing knowledge and understand how to diagnose and execute mechanics that drive growth. As a marketing leader, this person will need to act as an individual contributor as well as work with other marketers to maximize impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Optimizing new user flows from host partners to increase free-to-paid conversion rate
- Creating and scaling new paid media campaigns across platforms, campaign types, and targeting methods
- Growing organic website traffic and conversion by leveraging new content and other organic acquisition strategies
- Leveraging plugin listings to increase acquisition from key WordPress entry points
- Expanding revenue via targeted upsell and incentive uplift of our free user base
- Generating insights to improve creative across customer touchpoints
- Discovering new sources of growth by testing new ads, funnels, and marketing channels
Requirements:

- Marketing Strategy – Understanding the levers of a scaling business. You’re able to identify and analyze key metrics and prioritize strategies to escalate growth in new users and paid conversions.
- Acquisition Channels – Developing and scaling paid and organic campaigns across any channel, including SEM, paid social, video, and display. You’re excited to test into new channels and new technologies to find growth.
- Analytical Capabilities – Owning the measurement framework of how our growth strategies impact the business. You’re very comfortable analyzing data from multiple sources to generate insights. You will report on performance to leadership, measure attribution, measure estimated vs. actualized impact, and overall incremental impact to the Jetpack business.
- Communication – Writing with an understanding of your audience. You will need to gain support for your ideas with leadership, get the team on board, as well as write compelling copy for landing pages, ads, and emails.
- Leadership - Mentors the team for continued professional development. Uplifts the morale of the team with a positive mentality.
- Project Management - Developing systems for accountability across teams and driving initiatives forward to completion. Measuring and reporting on estimated vs. actualized impact.
- Knowledge of WordPress: Understanding and knowledge of the WordPress ecosystem is a plus, including having built websites on the WordPress platform, being a member of the WordPress community, and/or understanding the various products and tools within the Automattic portfolio.

Salary range: $140,000-$180,000 USD- Please note that salary ranges are global, regardless of location, and we pay in local currency.
