About the Role:
As Director of Product for Payments you’ll be a key leader within the product organization at Unite Us. You will be the product domain lead for Payments, which is responsible for a market-leading and innovative solution developed to facilitate reimbursements within the social care sector, a growing opportunity and area of focus within the healthcare industry. Our Payments product unlocks a sustainable social care model that includes identification of needs, enrollment of services, care for individuals, and a measurable impact of health outcomes (ROI)
In this role, you will craft and deliver on our overall strategy for the Payments product line, partnering closely with your tech, UX and analytics counterparts within the product and technology teams. Additionally, you will work cross-functionality with our go-to-market teams to define the overarching strategy, including growing payments top-line revenue, identifying strategic customer opportunities, and shaping/defining product-market fit with an industry-first product that’s gaining traction.
As a leader, you will oversee a team of product managers, and define, exhibit and hold a high bar for talent. What You'll Do:
- Work hand-in-hand with your technology and UX teams to define and execute a vision and strategy for the Payments product line
- Collaborate with market-facing teams to build a strategic plan for scaling and meeting the needs of government and social care network customers
- Get close to the customer to identify pain points and deeply understand their problems in order to translate them into product capabilities
- Lead the prioritization and development of your roadmap to deliver value to our customers and the company
- Collaborate with other product and tech leaders to identify cross domain dependencies, needs and priorities proactively
- Closely partner with our UX teams to inform research and design
- Define the product KPIs by identifying leading and lagging indicators of success, and track the success of the features that we launch with an analytical mindset
- Lead and coach a team of product managers, focusing on professional development and building a culture of accountability, ownership and product excellence
- Cultivate an environment where people can bring their whole selves to work by focusing on building psychological safety, and continue to advocate for your team and team members
You’re a good fit for this role if you have:
- 7+ years of experience in product management with at least 2+ years in the healthcare, digital health or health technology sectors
- 5+ years of experience building and managing high-performing product teams with a track record of consistently delivering and meeting roadmap commitments
- Experience building complex software products within healthcare, payments and/or government settings, with demonstrable success.
- Experience working on technical projects with dependencies across multiple domains, teams and technologies
- Executive presence and impeccable communication skills, committed to becoming a champion for Unite Us’s product vision to both internal stakeholders and external customers
- Someone who has a high focus on shipping products, and is able to make trade-offs that require prioritizing different competing demands
- A leader with a positive, ‘can do’ demeanor or “vibe”, who is self-motivated and can operate independently and drive a culture of ownership across a highly collaborative environment
- A strong and adaptable leader with the ability to dynamically respond to shifts in priorities, resolving contention and solving problems across teams

Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions:
- This position is remote, U.S. based, Eastern Time Zone preferred
- The target base pay range for this role is $170,000 - $192,500. This salary range represents our national target range for this role. Some geographic areas may have higher target ranges.
- This position may require 10% travel
