What you’ll be responsible for:

Circle is looking for a senior leader to join the Finance Operations team that will play a critical role in the design and architecture of a scalable platform and establish a service delivery function for global reconciliation. This leader will establish metrics and monitoring to ensure execution and scaling of this critical finance process for our products and funds flows to provide complete and accurate data to company stakeholders.

What you'll work on:

  • Leading the design and architecture of scalable reconciliation platform that integrates with subledgers and ERP.
  • Designing and establishing processes for the centralized management of all company transactional reconciliation activities.
  • Overseeing daily review and sign off of global reconciliations to ensure transaction data provided to Finance partner teams is complete and accurate for accounting and reporting processes.
  • Ensuring daily reconciliation breaks/exceptions identified are documented, investigated, assigned to responsible parties and resolved timely.
  • Establishing metrics and SLAs for monitoring and agreed upon cadence for resolution of exceptions for reconciliation in partnership with stakeholder teams.
  • Producing and monitoring daily reporting to provide operational insights and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Supporingt finance transformation initiatives to automate processes and integrate with upstream systems and ERP.

What you’ll bring to Circle:

  • 12+ years of relevant finance operations experience and leadership of service delivery, with experience working in the financial services, payments, trading or other high volume transactional business.
  • 5+ years of experience managing and leading teams.
  • Experience managing reconciliation function for global businesses at scale, needing to adapt to new requirements for new products and markets.
  • Finance transformation and automation experience, utilizing tools and technology to automate reconciliation and other finance processes.
  • Strong process design mindset and understanding of best practices for reconciliation service delivery.
  • Demonstrable track record of driving execution to ensure metrics for global reconciliation delivery are consistently met.
  • Exemplary leadership skills and ability to work effectively cross functionally in a complex and dynamic environment.
  • Detailed understanding of accounting, reporting and internal controls requirements to be able to provide necessary reconciliation output in a compliant manner to meet expectations of stakeholders, auditors and regulators.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
  • Experience/familiarity with Slack, Apple MacOS and GSuite.

Starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to: relevant experience, skill set, qualifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please note that compensation ranges may differ for candidates in other locations.

Base Pay Range: $190,000 - $242,500

Annual Bonus Target: 20%

Also Included: Equity Benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)). Circle has a discretionary vacation policy. We also provide 10 days of paid sick leave per year and 11 paid holidays per year in the U.S.
