About the Role
The Email Front-End Developer is a vital role within the email creation to customer facing process, being responsible to develop, personalize & test upcoming email campaigns. This role will collaborate closely with CRM, integrated marketing, and analytics partners to ensure the email development is in line with overall strategy. This role will play a key part in enhancing our CRM presence and ensuring an exceptional digital user experience across emails.
Design, code, and test responsive email templates using HTML/CSS within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform.
Ensure emails render correctly across various devices and email clients.
Implement A/B tests to optimize email performance.
Collaborate with the CRM/Loyalty team to understand campaign objectives and translate them into effective email designs.
Work closely with eCommerce, marketing, and analytics teams to gather requirements and feedback.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Monitor and analyze performance of email campaigns, most notably content testing results within live content platform & ESP.
Leverage ESP script language (AMScript) to create ideal personalized content within email design.
Ensure all CRM digital assets are up-to-date and free of errors. Troubleshoot accordingly and resolve issues related to email development.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in email design and front-end development.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience in email development and front-end web development.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Experience with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) is a plus.
Experience with testing and debugging.
Possess an eye for layout aesthetics.
Be analytical and to have a keen eye for details.
Have great problem-solving skills and you work well in a team.
Be curious about new technologies and to be driven to find ways to implement them in the workstream.
You have a big appetite to learn and improve front-end skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks that have finite due dates.
