This fully remote role, requiring regular travel and a flexible schedule, offers you the canvas to innovate, impact, and inspire within the leading community of e-commerce entrepreneurs.

ABOUT YOU

You're stepping into a world where your creativity sparks events that become the talk of the e-commerce world. With at least 3 years under your belt in corporate event coordination, your expertise is the backbone of our event success. Your background in hospitality, event management, or marketing has not just prepared you; it's propelled you.

As an MDS Event Coordinator, flexibility is your middle name, ready to jet off to any location to bring our events to life. Your knack for adapting on the fly, managing timelines like a pro, and nurturing vendor relationships ensures every event is a standout. Analytical yet imaginative, you weave together logistical threads to create event tapestries that dazzle and deliver.

Your professionalism, coupled with your positive, can-do attitude, keeps the energy high and the execution flawless, no matter the challenge. With you at the helm, every MDS event is a seamless blend of brand alignment, community engagement, and pure, unforgettable experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate every logistical aspect of our events, from the conceptual stages through to execution, including venue selection, catering arrangements, and AV setup.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and community members to develop programming that achieves our event objectives, ensuring alignment with MDS's values and goals.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for event participants, guaranteeing their experience is seamless and exceeds expectations.
  • Conduct thorough pre- and post-event evaluations, leveraging insights to continually enhance our event strategies and execution.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in corporate event coordination, with a track record of managing large-scale events.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in hospitality, event management, Marketing & Advertising, or related areas, or equivalent leadership experience in corporate event management.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and capability to travel as required.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, and the ability to manage relationships with a variety of vendors and partners.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a keen attention to detail and a problem-solving approach.
  • High level of professionalism, reliability, and the ability to maintain positive energy in any situation.

Benefits

  • Global Work Flexibility: Experience the ultimate freedom of a digital nomad lifestyle with MDS. Our 'office' is wherever you are, offering unparalleled flexibility to work from home, at a café, or while globe-trotting, as long as you're in sync with Eastern Time for key hours. This flexibility ensures you can balance personal and professional life seamlessly.
  • Outcome-Driven Work Culture: At MDS, we prioritize results over rigid schedules. Manage your day according to your own rhythm, focusing on outcomes, not hours. This approach grants you the freedom to handle personal tasks or indulge in leisure activities without compromising work quality.
