Join us as a Finance Optimisation Manager where you will spearhead initiatives aimed at optimising the financial structures and processes within the organisation. This role requires a unique blend of business development acumen and robust finance background to drive strategic financial projects, streamline processes, and challenge existing financial frameworks. The Finance Optimisation Manager will work closely with various departments, ensuring thorough approvals and sign-offs, to foster an environment of continuous improvement and innovation.

Your Role in Our Journey

  • Analyse current financial structures and processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Plan the optimal approach with regards to tools and policies
  • Drive financial hierarchy and risk mitigation levers into the company
  • Recommend and implement changes to enhance financial efficiency, reduce costs, and increase profitability.
  • Continuously monitor and assess the effectiveness of implemented changes, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Establish and maintain a robust hierarchy for financial approvals, ensuring all transactions comply with internal policies and regulations.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure that financial sign-offs are completed accurately and timely.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between departments to streamline the approval process.
  • Develop and implement processes for managing and controlling company expenses.
  • Monitor and review expense reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Provide recommendations for cost-saving measures and budget optimization.
  • Collaborate with department heads to set and track expense budgets, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
  • Conduct periodic audits to identify discrepancies and areas for improvement in expense management.

Your impact:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in finance, accounting, or business development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Experience with financial software and systems (e.g., ERP, financial planning tools).
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
