The Role: Founding Automation Engineer

We’re looking for a Founding Automation Engineer to join Respiris at this critical growth stage. This role involves building and automating the infrastructure that will power our sales, marketing, and growth operations, enabling Respiris to scale efficiently. You’ll be responsible for designing systems that streamline lead generation, lead nurturing, sales operations, and community engagement—transforming how we acquire, support, and grow our client base.

As a founding member of Respiris, you will work closely with Angel Cruzado, Founder and CEO, to help shape the future of the company. This role offers significant ownership and autonomy, allowing you to influence the direction of our automation strategy while making critical contributions to Respiris' success. You will directly impact how Respiris delivers value to both clients and community members as we grow and scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Marketing Automation: Implement and scale automation systems that integrate with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Pardot) to support lead generation, lead nurturing, lead scoring, and pipeline management.
  • Sales Operations: Develop scalable workflows that automate and optimize Respiris’ sales operations, including deal tracking, reporting, and notifications, ensuring the sales team has the tools to close deals efficiently.
  • Growth Marketing: Build and automate processes to support growth marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media integration, and personalized content delivery, ensuring prospects are engaged across multiple channels.
  • Lead Management: Create systems that allow for efficient lead segmentation, scoring, and nurturing, helping the sales and marketing teams focus on the highest-priority leads while driving conversions.
  • Community Automation: Support the development and automation of community-building efforts, ensuring seamless communication with our job search coaches, clients, and transitioning employees through targeted outreach and engagement strategies.
  • AI & Predictive Analytics: Collaborate with the data science team to incorporate AI-driven predictive analytics that enhance lead generation, sales forecasting, and marketing effectiveness.
  • Real-time Analytics & Reporting: Build automated reporting systems that provide real-time insights into sales performance, lead pipeline status, and marketing campaign effectiveness.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Angel Cruzado and the marketing, sales, and product teams to align automation strategies with overall business goals and ensure consistent growth.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in automation engineering with a focus on sales, marketing, or growth automation.
  • Proven expertise in CRM integration, marketing automation, and sales operations, with platforms like Salesforce, Pardot, HubSpot, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of AI and machine learning as applied to automation, lead management, and community engagement.
  • Experience building and scaling growth marketing and community automation systems, focusing on personalized content delivery and multi-channel engagement.
  • Proficiency in automation languages like Python, JavaScript, or related technologies.
  • Strong ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment, with a track record of delivering scalable solutions and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex technical challenges into actionable solutions.
