Dates for this Seasonal position: April 1, 2024 through October 18, 2024

HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE:

• Travel as part of a two-person team of Outside ambassadors throughout the United States (May-October) on behalf of Outside and the Get Outside Tour brand partners sharing your passion for hiking, camping, backpacking, running, overlanding, and adventure travel with Outside’s audience of active and aspiring outdoor enthusiasts
• Conduct approximately ten (open to the public) Outside “Boot Camps” (highlighting Outside and the Get Outside Tour brand partners) in partnership with specialty outdoor retailers throughout the United States
• Conduct approximately ten (open to the public) Outside “Trunk Shows” (highlighting Outside and the Get Outside Tour brand partners) in partnership with specialty outdoor retailers throughout the United States
• Host approximately ten “pint night” fundraisers on behalf of Outside and the Get Outside Tour brand partners designed to generate funds supporting local non-profit organizations with a mission to improve outdoor access within their communities
• Serve as Outside ambassadors representing Outside and the Get Outside Tour brand partners at approximately ten outdoor “festivals”
• Lead approximately ten on-trail group demonstration “magic moments” (e.g. hikes, rides, runs)
• Lead approximately ten Outside “Run” activations (e.g. community runs, night runs, races)
• Create custom content (photography, video, etc.) for Outside and the Get Outside Tour brand partners
• Utilize social media platforms to engage with, inform, and inspire Outside’s audience to #getoutside.. Create Reels and other Social Posts on behalf of Outside and the Get Outside Tour brand partners
• Collaborate with Outside's Events Coordinator and Get Outside Tour brand partners’ marketing teams to generate talking points, demonstrations, and strategic interactions for each 2024 Get Outside Tour event

YOU WILL THRIVE IF:

Preferred Qualifications:

● Established social media presence

• Experienced content creator (writer, photographer, videographer)

● Previous outdoor guiding experience

Entirely remote jobs that could be performed in Colorado: Employees can expect to be paid a salary of between $45,000 to $48,000 annual **note this is pro-rated for duration of employment. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
