Governance Analyst
£24,000 to £29,000 plus great benefits (Work Level 6B)

UK Remote First

This is a UK remote first role, with an option to work from our Manchester office for those who want to. You will have to attend quarterly meetings in Manchester (find out more about our hybrid working policy at colleagues.coop.co.uk/hybrid-working-policy).

We’re looking for a Governance Analyst to join us to support our support Strategy, Performance and Governance (SPG) team, within our wider Digital Technology and Data (DT&D) function. In this role, we’ll look to you to support the team and help them to embed processes and provide management controls to make sure new DT&D initiatives are governed effectively. What you’ll do

  • Support and maintain portfolio and capacity data for investment across Digital Technology and Data
  • Support process to make sure colleagues have visibility of data and can start work of initiatives on the portfolio
  • Provide data and insight to inform key decisions across Digital Technology and Data
  • Maintain and update our SharePoint information pages
  • Proactively look for ways for us to continuously improve processes within the team and wider function
  • Conduct analysis of data to identify any challenges and/or potential opportunities

This role would suit people who have

  • Excellent skills across the Microsoft Office packages, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel (pivot tables and VLOOKUPS)
  • Great data analysis skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Great communication skills with experience of working with large teams
  • The ability to multi-task and self-manage
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced changing environment
