We are now seeking a Grants Analyst who will perform administrative and financial assessment activities related to the post-award monitoring of a federal agency’s award portfolio. The Grants Analyst will collect, compile, and review work papers related to federal awards, including grant award financial information (PCL, SEFA, etc.) and internal controls policies and procedures against regulations, agency guidance, and award T facilitate conference calls with awardees to walk-through the collected documentation and provide in-the-moment technical assistance; and prepare draft reports summarizing the final analysis and incorporate feedback before submission. Additional support may be needed to update work templates and standard operating procedures, track deliverables, generate correspondence, and perform ad hoc analyses.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA/BS in a field with related skills such as accounting/budgeting, financial management, business, policy, communications, or English
- 1+ years of professional experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent quality assurance and attention to detail skills
- Ability to multi-task and juggle multiple assignments
- Strong proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to obtain a US government security clearance (e.g., Public Trust)
- All applicants must have the legal right to work in the US without sponsorship
- Experience as a Management Consultant to federal clients
- Experience performing federal grants accounting/budgeting/reconciliation or federal grants management functions (1-3 yrs)
- Familiarity and understanding of the Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200)
