Want to challenge yourself at a purpose-led scale up AND make a difference in the world? Come join the revolootion!

Funny name, serious business

We make eco-friendly products and donate 50% of our profits to provide clean water and help build toilets for the billions of people who lack proper access. So far, we’ve contributed over $13.3 million AUD (roughly $8.9 million USD) to fund sanitation projects around the globe. Basically, we’re really good at doing good.

With hubs in Australia, the Philippines, China, the US, UK and Europe, our amazing team of 200+ work to make the biggest possible impact for people and the planet. Over the next couple of years, we’re hoping to increase our annual donation tenfold to get us closer to our dream of everyone in the world having access to clean water and sanitation services.

A bit about the role

Reporting to the Logistics Director, APAC, you will ensure that our Australian Logistics function is running efficiently, cost-effectively, and with a high quality of service and performance across the board. As a super-fast growing business, the challenge is making sure we strike the right balance between robustness, cost, and flexibility at the same time (phew!).

To continue elevating and delighting our customer as we bring TP to their door, as our Logistics Operations Manager, you'll be a strategic problem-solver with a laser focus on customer retention and operational efficiency. You'll spearhead a series of initiatives aimed at eradicating outlier issues one by one, ensuring on-time deliveries, consistent quality, and seamless experience.

You’ll be the primary internal point of contact for all things AU Logistics Operations. As a strong internal relationship builder, you'll share knowledge, provide solutions, and empower your cross-functional colleagues to deliver impactful projects. Collaboration is key, so expect to work closely with teams in IBP, Digital Products, Customer Happiness, Finance, and Marketing. If environmental responsibility resonates with you, you'll find purpose in this role. You'll play a key role in transitioning our warehouse partners to sustainable energy solutions, contributing to a greener future for logistics.

If you worked here this past month here are some things you might have been involved in:

  • Working with our strategy team, you went deep into our data to understand the customer experience outside of metro postcodes and identified some cool tests to eliminate delivery delays at outlier destinations.
  • Led an awesome supplier workshop with a focus on performance improvement, going deep on root causes for operational lag and working collaboratively to define market-beating win-win outcomes
  • Devised a crazy and accelerated plan to expand our warehouse renewables project nationally: anyone for CRAP SOLAR?!
  • Rolled out a national distribution roadmap and operational guides for the launch of three brand new products through our network, delivering efficient process improvement and truly delightful customer experiences!

Let’s talk about you

You speak logistics-eseYou’re just as comfortable talking to your logistics partners about your concerns with their latest delivery in full on time metrics as you are about the finale of Game of Thrones. When it comes to building third-party partnerships, you know how to think about the day-to-day process flow, the uniqueness of our direct-to-consumer offering, how to stay chummy but are also ready and able to jump into the numbers and commercials. You know how to set meaningful, sustainable and realistic performance measures and targets.

You’re a natural problem solver and systems-thinkerSystems are exciting and fun. There are few things more satisfying to you than identifying a bottleneck or clunky process, fixing it, and making things hum. You love the opportunity to geek out on all things eCommerce logistics and connect into our global logistics team.

You have exceptional attention to detailYou’re naturally meticulous and don’t make the same mistake twice. You’re not superhuman or perfect, but accuracy is second nature to you.

You’re super organisedIf you worked at a circus, you’d be their star juggler. You’re used to keeping many balls in the air at once. You’re able to easily switch gears between tasks and work through projects and issues quickly and efficiently. You're excited about closing out a project and keeping your virtual desk spick and span to stay a step ahead of the next milestone.

You’re proactive and curiousYou’re constantly taking the initiative and looking for opportunities for improvement, when you just see a problem you can't help but dive in to help fix it or suggest a way forward.

You’re not afraid to get your hands dirtyYou’re comfortable being responsible for the front-line, tactical and day to day operational elements of logistics, as well as the loftier strategic and commercial objectives. You're humble enough to listen, yet confident enough to make decisions - staying ‘comfortable with being uncomfortable’. (Don’t worry, we’ll still be there with floaties to help you if you get into trouble!)

You give a crap

Do you want your work to make the world a better place? Do you want to work with other people who feel the same way? What a coincidence — us too!

Why should you work with us?

First off,as a certified B Corp™, we work to make a difference every day while maintaining the highest standards of social and environmental impact. With our most recent score of 125.5 we’re in very good company with other exceptional B Corps around the world.

We also believe that helping to make the world a better place should be rewarded accordingly – that’s why we offer competitive, market informed salaries, meaningful support towards healthcare for our team around the world, generous paid leave, tailored learning and development opportunities, and free toilet paper (yes, you read that right).

Our engagement surveys (thanks Culture Amp!) tell us that our team is really proud (98%) to work for Who Gives A Crap and, well, we couldn’t be more proud of that.

Have you made it this far?

If you’re still reading, we think there’s a strong chance you might be our kind of person. Here’s the thing, though — research suggests that 60% of women and underrepresented folks might have already talked themselves out of applying. Even if you don’t check every box above, we want to encourage you to introduce yourself. We believe a diversity of perspectives and experiences makes a team stronger — and the stronger our team, the closer we are to delivering toilets and clean water for all.
