A Manager of Customer Success is responsible for managing and supporting a team dedicated to customer renewals, achieving customer outcomes, and driving retention goals. As a Manager of Customer Success, you will regularly connect with your team as well as partner cross-functionally with Account Managers to provide support and ensure a seamless and exceptional customer experience.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a highly effective and productive Customer Success team while exemplifying the core values of the company.
  • Support Customer Success Managers as they act as the main point of contact for existing customer renewals and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Create strategic plans to achieve or exceed challenging retention goals and achieve customer outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers, Product Management, Product Support, and Marketing and report to department leadership often.
  • Achieve or exceed both challenging personal and team goals and daily activity targets.
  • Utilize CRM systems to track and manage sales activities, maintain accurate customer records, and report territory progress to management regularly.
  • Own all team hiring needs and provide exceptional onboarding experience for new team members.
  • Manage all aspects associated with company, organizational, and departmental change initiatives.
  • See to all performance management needs of your team and own all necessary approval processes.
  • Drive process improvements and regularly seek out team member feedback, ensuring communication of any team needs to higher management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
  • 6+ years experience in SaaS-related B2B sales or a similar industry.
  • Experience as a manager of people, leading employees and teams.
  • Experience using Salesforce CRM software.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding challenging sales quotas and goals.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time to meet with clients and attend industry events

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experienced in managing and prioritizing competing demands by assessing data and balancing business needs and prospect/customer experiences.
  • Dedicated to continuous improvement and feedback, identifying and working through new iterations and improvements on a regular basis.
  • Strong ability to organize, analyze, interpret, and disseminate information.
  • Ability to make decisions, prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and keep stakeholders informed on progress.
  • Experience selling software or technology solutions in Tech or SaaS related industries.
  • Results-driven mindset, with a passion for exceeding goals and driving revenue growth.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate value propositions and build relationships with decision-makers.
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of complex sales processes.
  • Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
