Providence is calling a Manager Reimbursements, Regulatory Reporting who will:

  • Be responsible for execution of various strategic value-added reimbursement initiatives for the system to include:
    • Evaluation
    • Planning
    • Coordination
  • Follow through to completion of such initiatives that include but are not limited to:
    • Prepare and review Medicare, Medicaid, and other regulatory reports
    • Wage index reviews
    • Medicaid Eligible Days reviews
    • Various cost based reimbursement strategies
    • Reimbursement methodology as it related to Medicare and Medicaid that has financial implications
  • Be responsible for ensuring compliance with all government reimbursement regulations and executes internal controls
  • Be responsible for the efficient operation of the functional team
  • Mentor staff
  • Assess current workloads
  • Provide adequate prioritization of reimbursement-related projects
  • Perform all duties in a manner that promotes PSJH mission, values, and philosophy
  • Serve as a role model for the values and mission of the organization

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Information Systems, Data Science or Mathematics / Statistics
  • 6+ years of experience in healthcare finance or another related field
  • 4+ years of experience leading teams
  • 2+ years of experience working with patient account lifecycle

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Master's Degree in Science or Business Administration
  • Certification: CHFP
  • Licensure: CPA
  • Experience with reimbursements
  • Knowledge of current reimbursement and reporting rules and regulations

  • Montana: Except Great Falls: Min: $41.19, Max: $66.31

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
