Your Impact

Axon is expanding into New Markets and is growing our team! We need a high energy, process focused Sales Order Coordinator to work with internal teams at Axon and support a streamlined customer order experience. In this role you will coordinate processing of all opportunities and facilitate implementation of New Markets specific requirements into Axon processes. You will serve as the conduit between sales, program management and our internal teams to ensure efficient execution of orders, compliance to customer requirements and adherence with internal policies and procedures.

What You’ll Do

Location: Remotely from the United States. Scottsdale, AZ or Boston, MA are highly preferred

  • Build strong relationships with sales partners, customers, and other key stakeholders across the business.
  • Assist in complete processing of New Markets opportunities; auditing for consistency and accuracy from quote to purchase order.
  • Ensure customer and business alignment throughout sales process on matters including but not limited to, quoted deliverables, invoicing, and final contracts in Salesforce while meeting customer requirements and Axon process needs.
  • Build out and maintain sales enabling collateral, as needed, to support internal and external program comprehension, fiscal scheduling, and overall purchase justification.
  • Assist in the development and execution of account strategy by collaborating with sales team to deliver stronger, more relevant, and more tailor-fitted value propositions.
  • Perform in-depth analysis on present customer contract and performance data to draw out insights and recommendations on current and future sales opportunities.
  • Participate in deal reviews with Sales/Sales Leadership to help drive account-level strategy on pricing/deal structuring.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the sales team and enable the selling motion through advocating for what is in the best interests of the business, and proactively working to remove commercial blockers.
  • Work cross-functionally with multiple departments Leadership, Legal, Finance, Customer Success, Order Status, Quoting, etc. to ensure smooth deal execution.
  • Develop strong knowledge of go-to market strategy, internal system and product limitations in order to remove points of friction on complex and highly customizable sales.
  • Assist in troubleshooting operational issues as they surface, and work cross-functionally for workarounds in the short-term, and propose changes to fix root causes in the long-term.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent applicable experience.
  • 2+ years of relevant order entry experience
  • Ability to learn on the go, be a self-starter
  • High attention to detail
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Demonstrable track record of working within defined processes (turning complexity into process)
  • Ability to manage to and communicate with group of 10+ stakeholders
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in groups and understand complex workflows
  • Intermediate MS Office skills
  • Customer-centric attitude
  • Ability to work both individually and collaboratively in a fast moving and often ambiguous environment.
  • Ability to frequently juggle multiple high-priority deadline-driven projects at once
  • Prior experience with Salesforce
  • Understanding of state and local government purchasing a plus.
  • Concern for high quality deliverables and deadlines

The Pay: The compensation for this role is made up of an uncapped commissions and a starting base pay between USD 59400 in the lowest geographic market and USD 89100 in the highest geographic market. On average, the national commissions target for this role is USD 28500. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: experience, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and geographic market demands and often a combination of all these factors.
