Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and driven US Non-IT Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, expanding our client base, and driving revenue growth within the non-IT sector. This is a remote position open to nationals residing in India.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities in the US non-IT market across industries such as Manufacturing, Aerospace, Automotive, Environmental Services, Retail, and more.
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers in target companies, ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, potential clients, and competitive landscape within the non-IT sector.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, including cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
- Proposal & Contract Management: Prepare and present proposals, negotiate terms, and manage contracts to close deals efficiently.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the recruitment team to ensure alignment on client requirements and successful candidate placements.
- Reporting: Track and report on sales metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement in business development efforts.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development within the US non-IT staffing industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the non-IT sectors including Manufacturing, Aerospace, Automotive, Environmental Services, Retail, and Scientific industries.
- Sales Skills: Strong sales acumen with experience in lead generation, client acquisition, and relationship management.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using CRM software and sales tools. Familiarity with US tax terms (W2, C2C, 1099) and visa types (H1B, EAD, Green Card) is preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively with clients.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities with experience managing multiple clients and sales processes simultaneously.
- Preferred: Experience with VMS/MSP systems, advanced market research techniques, and familiarity with diverse non-IT business development practices.
