About the opportunity

We are seeking an Operations Analyst, based in Berlin or remote. In this role, you'll be a part of the service delivery team for our product lines, maintaining SLAs with precision while continuously improving our existing processes. As a key member of finmid's team, your role will involve collaborating with the team to achieve optimal process execution, solving complex problems and digging into edge cases for our customers to ensure smooth operations and efficient task completion. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to meet growing demand and ensure seamless operations for our expanding customer base 🚀.

In this role, you will:

  • Execute and perform operational processes related to service delivery, focusing on maintaining SLAs with high accuracy amidst growing volumes and demand.

  • Troubleshoot and solve edge cases that arise in delivering our operational processes

  • Develop, refine, and maintain documentation of operational procedures and best practices to facilitate team knowledge sharing.

  • Analyze our processes and initiate changes and improvements to help scale our operations and enhance user experience

  • Navigate changes in product and tooling while being at the forefront of ensuring efficient service delivery, as the first dedicated hire within this team.

What you need to be successful:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, i.e. business operations, operational excellence, back-office operations, banking operations or servicing; preferably with experience in financial services, fintech, or similar.

  • User-first mindset, energized by the challenge of solving difficult, complex, and non-standard problems

  • Strong prioritization skills and enjoy working in a quick-moving environment

  • Process-driven and results-oriented, with ability to get things done

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • 'Can-do' attitude, along with an optimistic and solution-oriented mindset, fostering a collaborative and proactive approach to challenges.

  • Proficiency in G-suite tools; SQL; etc.
