About the role

As an Operations Manager, Facilitation you are responsible for leading & implementing programs that drive the strategic goals and growth of our Facilitators and the Sidebar community. You will work cross-functionally to improve our Facilitator’s productivity and performance, and do so with efficient resource usage and deep focus on overall program and project execution. You will create, deploy, and monitor scaled programs aimed at empowering our Facilitation team to thrive.

As a leader of the team, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing strategic initiatives to drive Facilitator + member growth, engagement, and success on our platform. The ideal candidate possesses a blend of strategic thinking, project management expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and a passion for learning.

As an Operations Manager, Facilitation, you’ll…

  • Understand facilitation through facilitating virtual, small group discussions (between 6-8 people) - 10% of your time

  • Influence Facilitators to optimize their performance through different programs: Implement programs and strategies to encourage Facilitators to enhance the performance of their group member sessions on Sidebar, improve member experiences, and maximize their learning potential.

  • Program Development: Plan and execute comprehensive programs tailored to the needs of members. Develop a deep understanding of the Sidebar community, identifying key growth opportunities through extensive data analysis and account management, pain points, and learning preferences.

  • Metrics and Analytics: Define and track key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of our Facilitators. Regularly analyze data to refine strategies, improve content, and enhance the overall impact on Facilitator and member growth.

  • Lead end-to-end scaled programs, from ideation to deployment and assessment. Ensure timely execution and coordination among various teams to meet program milestones.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Act as a central point of contact for program-related inquiries, feedback, and updates.

  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and platform changes to continuously evolve and enhance the programs. Integrate innovative techniques and technologies to deliver high-impact content.

About you

You’ll thrive as a Operations Manager, Facilitation, if you have:

  • Extensive experience in program management, project management, educational content development, and/or a related role.

  • Demonstrated success in creating and deploying educational content across various formats and channels including visual asset creation.

  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage projects to successful completion.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for distilling complex topics into clear and concise messages.

  • Highly organized, resourceful, and results-driven with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

  • Creative thinker and problem solver, capable of generating innovative ideas and solutions.

  • Autonomous and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently while maintaining alignment with team goals.
