Job Description

Schedule: 2-3 days/ week

What are we looking for?

Skills Required:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proven admin or assistant experience
  • Proven experience in basic accounting- Invoicing, Payables, Transaction of loans
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Strong numerical skills
  • Proficient in MS Office suite and Xero (accounting software)

Nice to Have:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Time-management skills

What will you do?

  • Assistance in general finance works
  • Entering details in invoices
  • Answer and direct phone calls.
  • Maintain contact lists.
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
  • Confidentially handle sensitive information.
  • Take accurate minutes of meetings.
  • Coordinate office procedures.
  • Code and enter all creditor (payables) transaction documents.
  • Monitor and close-out completed purchase orders.
  • Complete the monthly payment schedule.
  • Routine follow up of debtors (cash receipts)
  • Managing accounts emails and queries from internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist with administration as required.
