Partnership Coordinator
Full Time, 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
Location: Homebased – Travel in Mercia Area (Hereford, Worcester, Telford, and Shropshire)
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000
We are currently recruiting for a Partnership Coordinator to join our team at Restart on a Full Time Fixed Term basis.
The Partnership Coordinator will proactively engage and develop effective relationship with key stakeholders and local services. Responsible for contributing to the development and implementation the Stakeholder Engagement Strategy.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop a thorough understanding of, and build collaborative relationships with key strategic stakeholders
- Develop a thorough understanding of existing initiatives, services and projects in the area, sharing knowledge with operations team and supply chain partners to ensure that our provision continues to offer added value through services which are not otherwise accessible to eligible groups.
- Work with Serco Operations Manager, Operations team and Supply Chain Partners to assess needs of our customer caseload, identifying any gaps in existing provision
- Work collaboratively with supply chain partners to forge and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Effective networking and building awareness of local strategic priorities to identify local or regional business development opportunities and sharing this with wider Serco and supply chain.
- Support on marketing campaigns using a mix of traditional and digital media and deliver partnership events, supported by Serco’s Employment, Skills & Enterprise (ESE) Marketing & Communications function.
- Work with Operations team and Supply Chain partners, in conjunction with the ESE Marketing & Communications function, to develop high quality case studies that can be used to raise the profile of our Restart provision
- Coordinate stakeholder satisfaction surveys, supported by the ESE Marketing & Communications function, to support continuous improvement.
- Build links with Serco colleagues within the Partnerships community, to contribute to a community of best practice and share knowledge and understanding of the opportunities to both benefit from, and grow, the Serco presence in the area.
- Establish and maintain effective internal working relationships, participating when required in cross organisational and sector projects, to ensure opportunities for integration are maximised across Employment, Skills and Enterprise contracts.
- Undertake such additional duties as may be reasonably required commensurate with the level of responsibility within the area
What you’ll need to do the role:
- Successful track record of working in a sales-oriented environment in an account management or business development role, ideally within the employability and skills sector.
- Level 4 qualification or equivalent desirable
- Proven ability to build collaborative, professional internal and external relationships
- Ability to effectively communicate at all levels, using a variety of communication methods (spoken, written, behaviour)
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
- Always presents a professional approach, while tailoring style according to the audience
- Self-motivated, high-energy individual with a demonstrable passion for engaging with stakeholders to achieve goals
- Ability to proactively manage own workload and multiple priorities with excellent organisation and time management skills
- Works well to targets and fixed deadlines
- Knowledge and experience of ESF or other funded employability programmes
- Computer literate (MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
