What this job can offer you
This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the people centric initiatives for our growing global, remote company. This role will help drive and implement critical people programs by focusing on program management, stakeholder engagement, cross functional collaboration, change management and comprehensive communications for multiple audiences. This role will also ensure that our strategic roadmap is planned and executed successfully. This role will be an integral part of helping to define future roadmap items for 2025 and establish best practices for program and project planning across the team keeping everyone well informed and clear on our objectives and priorities. What you bring
- Experience at 1,000+ size tech orgs leading enterprise wide initiatives with strong demonstrated experience in change management practices, stakeholder engagement and comms strategy development (preferably in a global remote environment)
- Strong Project or Program Management experience (PMP certification a plus)
- Solid experience and foundational understanding of core HR design and programming (possibly people ops or talent development)
- Experience with data reporting and analytics tracking key results, deliverables and ROI
- Experience in people functions and programs management including designing and managing complex programs within a People Team and across a distributed workforce
- Past experience creating and leading internal people focused programs designed for scale in a high growth and fast-paced environment
- Ability to see big picture - thinking strategically and broadly about how people programs drive business objectives and impact
- Experience implementing and scaling people programs such as performance management, engagement, career development, DEIB and goal setting.
- Comfortable with using data to understand and explain program rationale and impact
- Ability to work independently while managing people programs to completion, solving problems creatively and proactively with cross functional teams and delivering results
- High attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and care
- High self-awareness, empathy, and the ability to collaborate effectively, listen, and absorb feedback
- A commitment to fostering a company culture that values diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- It's not required to have experience working remotely, but considered a plus
Key Responsibilities
- With People Leadership, develop and execute a comprehensive People Programs function that propels our high performance culture and takes the employee experience to new heights.
- Manage the execution and communications of People Programs including the performance review cycle, goal setting, engagement surveys and career development. Ensuring deadlines are met and employees are equipped with the necessary guidance and information
- Identify areas for improvement in existing People Programs and design new initiatives to address gaps and ensure our programs scale and grow with our business.
- Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts by helping to develop and implement strategies that create an inclusive and equitable work environment. Champion initiatives that promote diverse hiring practices, support underrepresented groups, and ensure fair and unbiased people practices across the organisation.
- Act as a catalyst for building and nurturing a high performance culture through the implementation of performance management frameworks, and ensuring regular high quality feedback and action plans to integrate solutions with tangible results
- Identify and help design people focused initiatives that empower our employees to take ownership of their career development, foster a growth mindset, and pursue opportunities for learning and advancement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights, analyze data, and identify trends to inform the development of People Programs.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices and trends in People Programs, employee engagement, and high performance cultures, and apply them to our organisation as appropriate.
- Measure the impact and effectiveness of People Programs through data analysis and reporting, and continuously iterate and improve based on feedback and results.

At first glance our salary bands seem quite wide - here is some context. At Remote we have international operations and a globally distributed workforce. We use geo ranges to consider geographic pay differentials as part of our global compensation strategy to remain competitive in various markets while we hiring globally.
The base salary range for this full-time position is $35,00 USD to $78,000 USD. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location, and our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay for the successful candidate in this role is dependent upon many factors such as location, transferable or job-related skills, work experience, relevant training, business needs, and market demands. The base salary range may be subject to change.
At Remote, we foster internal mobility as a key element of our culture of employee growth and development, supported by a compensation philosophy that guarantees pay equity and fairness. Therefore, all compensation changes associated with an internal move will be reviewed by the Total Rewards & People Enablement team on a case by case basis.
