About the Physician Recruiter

Upperline Health is seeking an experienced Physician Recruiter to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in Attracting, Engaging, Acquiring and Onboarding talented Podiatrists who align with our organization’s mission and values. The Physician Recruiter will work with Regional and Corporate Leaders to understand current and future recruitment needs along with critical timelines and deliverables.

The position will be based out of our Nashville, TN office but worked remotely with occasional travel. The position is available to candidates who currently reside in the following states: AL, CA, FL, GA, IL, IN, KY, MI, NC, NV, PA, TN, TX.

What You’ll Do:

  • Recruitment Strategy Development: Develop and implement various recruitment strategies to attract top-tier podiatric physicians. This includes physician/clinic brand marketing, process development, analytical results/ROI reporting, project management and more.
  • Early Career Program Development: Define clear objectives for early career, residency and fellowship programs. Attracting top talent, fostering talent development and creating a pipeline for future DPM talent.
  • Candidate Sourcing: Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, networking, referrals and early career programs, to identify and engage qualified talent.
  • Candidate Screening and Evaluation: Conduct thorough screening and evaluation of talent to assess their qualifications, skills, and culture fit within the organization. Managing the Full-Cycle Recruitment Process – Attracting to Hiring/Onboarding.
  • Interview Coordination: Coordinate and facilitate interviews between talent and key stakeholders, including Regional Medical Directors, Regional Operations Leaders and Executive team members.
  • Negotiation and Offer Management: Manage the negotiation process, including compensation packages, relocation assistance, and other employment terms, to secure successful candidate placements.
  • Onboarding Support: Collaborate with HR and other department leaders to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new physicians, including orientation and integration into the organization.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, college and career programs and candidates to foster a positive recruitment process.
  • Market Research: Stay informed on trends, market conditions, and competitive intelligence related to podiatric physicians and healthcare recruitment to inform recruiting strategies and decision-making.
  • Other Related Duties: Support other areas of Clinical Leadership recruiting.

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of physician recruitment, preferably in the podiatric industry.
  • Proven track record of success in sourcing, attracting, and hiring healthcare professionals.
  • Experience in high growth fast-paced organizations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in recruitment software, application tracking systems (UKG is a plus) and other related systems.

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Ability to meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel as needed (no more than 20%).
  • You have excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with a broad spectrum of people.
