Overview

LMI is seeking a skilled PMO Support Specialist to provide remote support. Successful LMI PMO Support Specialist demonstrate competency in program execution, leadership critical thinking, PMO and business process improvement, and business growth while upholding the highest standard of ethical behavior. This role will be responsible for understanding current PMO and business processes, analyzing them to improve efficiency, productivity and to reduce costs.

Responsibilities

  • Use modeling tools (Visio, PowerBI, Excel, etc.) to develop processes, visualizations, use cases and user stories.
  • Create high level and detailed process documentation supporting all aspects of clinical workflows, EHR documentation and workflows, and enterprise program execution.
  • Develop and evaluate program execution practices to recommend an approach to support the delivery of new business processes and process improvement.
  • Assess best practices, trends, and process implementation strategies to optimize solutions for client projects and sponsoring organizations.
  • Support emerging technology adoption, government enterprise IT modernization efforts, and delivery of innovative technical solutions.
  • Understand business environment and identify areas that may be candidates for process improvement.
  • Define, implement and maintain PMO and business processes per documented standards.
  • Identify continuous improvement metrics and effectively engage with stakeholders to set and prioritize and drive business process improvements determined to have the greatest impact on the business in short and longer term.
  • Provide program management office (PMO) support to include but not limited to developing, managing and monitoring all contract tracking tools, developing and tracking contract deliverables and requirements, and tracking contract training requirements.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations, with a focus on overall deliverables and business benefit.
  • Work autonomously in an ambiguous environment, proactively solving problems and identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Work collaboratively in multidisciplinary team to support initiatives intended to support client missions and improve processes and deliverables where needed.

Qualifications

MINIMUM:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 7 years of relevant experience in PMO support and process mapping; Or A Masters degree with 3 years of relevant experience
  • 5+ years of healthcare related experience including consulting and/or professional services experience
  • Creative Problem Solving
  • Advanced Communication skills
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Ability to synthesize a lot of information into clear, concise, and consumable deliverables
  • Adaptability to changing business needs and conditions
  • Strong research and investigation skills, understanding how to assess current state, identify problems, root cause analysis and usage of metrics
  • Ability to influence others to move towards a consensus on the best path forward, recognizing that there may never be full alignment
  • Strong time management, and ability to apply principals of project management (scope, schedule, risk, etc.)

DESIRED:

  • Lean or Six Sigma Certification or any of the following: ITLV3, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, CompTIA Security+
  • Knowledge and/or experience with the military health system
