About the role

As a Product Designer at G-P, you'll have the opportunity to work on projects that impact thousands of workers and contractors around the world. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, researchers, and other designers to create innovative and memorable experiences across our platform. From designing the next generation of AI powered HR tools to crafting delightful onboarding experiences, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of work across the globe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use our end-to-end design process for new product features and enhancements, from concept ideation to final visual design.
  • Use design thinking to spark discourse and solve problems.
  • Work closely with product managers to define product requirements, prioritize features, and align on project timelines.
  • Team up with our UX Research team to conduct user research and usability testing to gain insights into user behaviors, needs, and pain points.
  • Create user flows, wireframes, and prototypes to communicate design concepts and interactions.
  • Collaborate with engineers to ensure design feasibility and maintain a high level of polish in the final product.
  • Strive for design excellence and contribute to the evolution of G-P’s design system.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in product design, ideally in the Saas B2B industry.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates problem solving, innovative thinking and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Framer, Rive etc.
  • Understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and defend design decisions to stakeholders.
  • Experience working in an agile environment and iterating quickly based on user feedback.
  • Comfortable crafting and coordinating ideation workshops.
  • Experience participating in qualitative user testing.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in design, human-computer interaction, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
