We are looking for a super collaborative Product Manager to join our London team to help grow one of Octopus Energy Group’s most exciting businesses and to accelerate the British driving public on their energy transition.

We are building a whole new way for drivers to join the electric revolution. Not only can they learn about and shop for their EV online, but also experience a ‘lease for life’ through an industry-changing customer experience. The Product team is crucial in defining and bringing to market this vision whilst working hand in hand with all teams across the company to deliver it in record time. 

We’re looking for someone who is excited about taking the next step in their Product career. 

What you'll do

• Collaborate across the company, with a focus on Vehicle Operations and a network of automotive partners 
• Map business processes to understand the status quo, establish the problems to be solved, as well as define the future state
• Write outcome-driven user stories with clearly defined success metrics 
• Refine and prioritise backlog of requirements in conjunction with business owners
• Deliver frequent increments of value together with the engineering team 
• Use data analytics and user research to iterate and improve the product further

What you'll need

• Ability to understand and digest complex processes and systems
• Strong communication skills that make use of storytelling allowing you to land your message with a wide range of audiences
• Ability to build relationships across groups to deal effectively with various needs
• A passion for getting things done and achieving measurable results
• Proven problem-solving abilities with a bias for simplicity 
• An interest in sustainability, green energy and zero-emissions transport
• Curiosity
