What you will do:

Rumble is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Product Owner to join our team. As a Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in managing and maintaining the product backlog, understanding and improving the user journey, and enhancing the suite of creator workflow tools on our platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to prioritize initiatives that drive value for both creators and users. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and a deep commitment to understanding and serving our users' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the product backlog, prioritizing features and enhancements based on strategic objectives and customer feedback.
  • Gain a deep understanding of the customer journey and identify opportunities to improve user experience and streamline creator workflows.
  • Collaborate with technology, design, customer support and content teams to translate user needs into actionable product requirements and specifications in the form of user stories, refining them with the development team to ensure clarity and feasibility.
  • Help develop and execute test plans to improve quality assurance on the platform, ensuring a seamless user experience and adherence to product specifications.
  • Drive the development and launch of new features and enhancements, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
  • Monitor product performance and user feedback, iterating and optimizing features to continuously improve customer satisfaction.
  • Identify features and functionalities that align with product marketing strategies, collaborating with the marketing team to drive user adoption and engagement.
  • Keep the help center documentation up-to-date, ensuring users have access to accurate and helpful resources to troubleshoot issues and maximize their usage of the platform.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to inform product strategy and roadmap decisions.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in a B2C digital product management role
  • Experience in developing applications across web, iOS and Android
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a passion for understanding user needs and delivering exceptional user experiences.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Adaptability and resilience to thrive in a startup environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Product management experience in the digital media, publishing or video streaming industry.
  • Experience overseeing the development of apps for Smart TV and Connected TV platforms
  • Background in creating internal tools and content management systems for stakeholders
  • Deep technical knowledge of video streaming platforms and digital content creation and publishing tools
  • Experience using common workflow tools such as Jira or Figma
  • Ability to triangulate user feedback and trends across multiple sources (reviews, social media, support)

Desired Qualifications:

  • Development of platforms with features relating to user generated content
  • Experience working with ad technologies is a plus
  • Experience working with various cloud platforms, including OpenStack and VMware.
  • High emotional intelligence, with the ability to empathize with users and colleagues, navigate challenging situations, and foster positive relationships
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.

Remote: Eastern Time Zone only, also willing and able to travel 10-25% of the time (mostly domestic)
