A Brief Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to jointhe Data & Analytics organization. As a Program Manager (Individual Contributor), you will be responsible for overseeing the successful planning, execution, and delivery of strategic data programs within our organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive program objectives, and ensure alignment with organizational goals. Your strong program management skills, attention to detail, and ability to navigate complex projects will be crucial in achieving program success.

What you will do

  • Data & Analytics Focus: Oversee programs specifically within the Data & Analytics domain. This includes managing data enablement initiatives, ensuring data quality and integrity, and driving analytics projects that support business decision-making.
  • Technical Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers, data scientists, and analysts to ensure alignment on technical requirements and project deliverables. Facilitate effective coordination, issue resolution, and decision-making to drive program progress.
  • Data Strategy Implementation: Support the development and execution of the organization’s data strategy. Ensure that data initiatives align with business objectives and contribute to the overall data-driven culture of the organization.
  • Advanced Analytics Projects: Manage programs that involve advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI. Ensure that these projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet the desired business outcomes.
  • Program Planning: Develop comprehensive program plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines. Collaborate with stakeholders to define program requirements and establish clear goals and success criteria.
  • Program Execution: Lead program execution, ensuring adherence to program plans, schedules, and budgets. Coordinate activities across multiple projects, workstreams, and stakeholders to drive program milestones and deliverables.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage and manage relationships with key stakeholders at various levels within the organization. Provide regular updates on program status, risks, and issues. Ensure stakeholder alignment and buy-in throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Risk and Issue Management: Identify, assess, and proactively manage risks and issues that may impact program delivery. Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize program disruptions.
  • Program Reporting: Develop and deliver regular program status reports, executive summaries, and presentations. Communicate program progress, key metrics, and performance against targets to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Program Evaluation and Lessons Learned: Conduct post-program evaluations to assess program outcomes, identify lessons learned, and capture best practices. Use insights to drive continuous improvement and inform future program initiatives.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, program management methodologies, and emerging practices. Continuously enhance program management skills and share knowledge with the team.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred

Experience Qualifications

  • Typically 5+ years experience in program management, project management, or related roles, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex programs.
  • Experience in managing programs within the Data & Analytics domain is highly desired.

Skills and Abilities

  • Data & Analytics Knowledge: Working understanding of data management, data governance, and analytics methodologies. Knowledge of data visualization tools, data warehousing, and advanced analytics techniques a plus.
  • Technical Acumen: Familiarity with data engineering, data science, and analytics tools and technologies. Ability to understand technical requirements and facilitate collaboration between technical and non-technical teams.
  • Program Management Expertise: Strong understanding of program management principles, methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum), and best practices. Demonstrated experience in leading end-to-end program lifecycles, from planning to delivery.
  • Program Management Tools: Proficiency in using program management and project management tools and software, such as Monday.com, Jira, or Microsoft Project, to track progress, manage tasks, and ensure timely delivery of program milestones.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to align program objectives with broader organizational goals and strategic initiatives. Translate strategies into actionable program plans and outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders. Influencing and negotiation skills to drive alignment and resolve conflicts.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to identify program risks, issues, and dependencies. Proven ability to develop innovative solutions and make data-driven decisions.
  • Results-Oriented: Demonstrated track record of delivering programs on time, within budget, and with high-quality outcomes. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing priorities, and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Collaboration: Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and individuals at all levels of the organization. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a focus on ensuring accuracy and completeness in program planning, documentation, and reporting.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Flexibility to manage multiple programs simultaneously and navigate ambiguity.

Licenses and Certifications

  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI preferred
  • PgMP - Program Management Professional preferred

The salary range for this role is $60,600 to $123,700. The candidate’s final salary offer will be based on the candidate’s skills, education, work location and experience.

A candidate’s compensation may also include bonuses consistent with TriNet’s corporate bonus plan.
