Project Managers work with our customers to ensure they are maximising our platform and suite of products and the value it brings to their organisation. The primary focus is to assist with a smooth implementation of our products and provide ongoing assistance and support. The Project Manager will be responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of work packages and projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. You will follow approved methodologies to build client confidence and ensure value-add to customer implementations.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating client projects and work packages within the scope of work defined, supporting the customer achieve their pre-determined milestones
  • Deploying Ideagen CompliSpace software solutions for new clients by creating sites, customising content for individual client sites and completing any enhancement requests as part of the implementation process.
  • Understanding client's needs, and then convert that information to the system configuration or assess the best options for the client.
  • Collating and formulating documents/materials/requirements and completing internal operational checklists during the project planning stage of implementation.
  • Using PRINCE2 project management methodology, principles, and techniques to develop and manage projects and ensure all steps in the Project Plan are completed in a timely manner.
  • Supporting junior team members in the delivery of client projects and work packages
  • Support the appropriate allocation and management of resources and ensure milestones are being tracked
  • Where necessary, troubleshoot technical problems, identify root causes, and provide timely resolutions.
  • Working with the Program Manager to ensure management of project risks and issues, analysis of potential mitigation plans
  • Working with the Program Manager to ensure communication management plans are being enacted
  • Ensuring project closure activities are being completed
  • Supporting the establishment of effective and successful relationships with clients
  • Demonstrate the ability to quickly assess a client’s implementation capability and work with clients over time to enhance these capabilities
  • Identify any potential ‘roadblocks’ and/or ‘obstacles’ that may occur during the implementation process and proactively managing these situations such as ‘coaching’, targeted strategies, and interventions to achieve a desired result

Skills and Experience

  • A tertiary qualification, or equivalent studies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong stakeholder management
  • Exceptional presentation skills
  • Demonstrable ability to:
    • manage consulting projects across a range of industry sectors
    • oversee / manage multiple projects at one time to ensure effective quality control
    • work effectively cross functional teams build a team in a growth environment
    • work with a variety of technology platforms (experience with a GRC software preferred)
  • Must have Prince 2 Foundation certified.
  • Prince2 Practitioner advantageous.
