About the Role

As a driving force behind our sales team, you will take charge of managing your territory and outbound lead generation to position Rocket Lawyer as a game-changing HR benefit. We're seeking individuals who embody the traits of a high-performance sales culture while also genuinely caring about addressing the legal challenges that every employee of our client companies faces. After a year, the possibility awaits for you to elevate to other roles within Rocket Lawyer, including Account Executive or Customer Success Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Innovate and generate fresh business opportunities, propelling the Legal Benefits pipeline forward
  • Collaborate closely with managers and account executives to strategize targeted lists, call approaches, and compelling messaging to cultivate new business avenues
  • Engage in high-level discussions with senior executives at our target accounts
  • Identify and connect with crucial decision-makers within potential client organizations, laying the cornerstone for robust, enduring partnerships
  • Team up with sales representatives to construct a robust pipeline for our Legal Benefits product
  • Articulate the value that Rocket Lawyer seamlessly integrates into the company’s benefits package
  • Consistently meet or surpass monthly quotas for qualified opportunities

As a Sales Development Representative at Rocket Lawyer, the following qualities and qualifications are your ticket to joining our ranks:

  • Experience with sales, cold-calling, or prospecting is required
  • While a bachelor’s degree is advantageous, it’s not a mandatory requirement
  • Previous experience of at least 1 year in lead generation, sales, and/or marketing is highly valued
  • A genuine passion for assisting individuals in safeguarding their interests
  • Demonstrated history of exceeding sales targets, particularly in high-volume scenarios, and a proven record of thriving in goal-oriented environments
  • Prior exposure to Internet or SaaS companies is a distinct advantage
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is preferred

Annual Salary Range: $60,000 base + $30,000 variable commission = $90,000 OTE
