We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Director with a proven track record in both large-scale tech environments and startups. This role is ideal for a strategic leader who can balance business development with operational excellence, driving revenue growth while building the foundations for a world-class sales organization. The Sales Director will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy, building and qualifying a robust pipeline, setting up key metrics, and establishing a scalable commission model. Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company goals.
- Identify and prioritize target markets, customer segments, and key opportunities for growth.
- Build and manage a high-performing sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Lead business development efforts to establish and maintain strategic partnerships.
- Drive new business opportunities by identifying potential customers and expanding into new markets.
- Collaborate with product and marketing teams to align offerings with customer needs.
- Set up and maintain sales operations, including pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track and improve sales performance.
- Design and implement a scalable commission structure that incentivizes top performance.
- Expertly utilize CRM tools such as HubSpot to manage customer relationships, track sales activities, and analyze data.
- Continuously optimize CRM workflows and integrations to support the sales process.
- Recruit, train, and mentor a team of sales professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Provide ongoing coaching and development to ensure team members achieve their full potential.
- Lead by example, demonstrating a hands-on approach to sales and customer engagement.
- Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform product development and improve the overall customer experience.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to keep the company ahead of the curve.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- 8 years of experience in sales in both large tech companies and startups
- 4 years in a leadership role building and scaling sales teams, driving revenue growth
- Proven track record in business development, with a focus on building strategic partnerships and expanding market reach globally.
- Deep understanding of sales operations, including pipeline management, metrics, forecasting, and commission models.
