The Role:

Congo Brands is seeking a Sales Support Manager to join our dynamic sales team. The Sales Support Manager will be responsible for providing administrative support to the sales team, assisting with sales operations, and contributing to the overall success of the sales department across Australia and New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the sales team with administrative tasks, including but not limited to: filling out paperwork, processing orders, managing deliveries, ordering office supplies, updating customer information and other day to day office operations.
  • Coordinate and schedule sales team meetings and appointments.
  • Prepare and distribute sales reports and presentations as needed.
  • Support the sales team in creating and maintaining customer relationships.
  • Assist with inventory management and order fulfillment processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Responsible for the paperwork and storage of documents as needed for governance and audits.
  • Develop and deliver sales training programs and product information to equip the sales team with necessary skills and knowledge to effectively execute sales strategies.
  • Create and sales presentations templates for sales managers.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to build monthly sales updates for C-Suite.
  • Collaborate with sales operations and sales leadership to implement process improvements and technology solutions that enhance sales productivity and effectiveness.
  • Create sales enablement materials to support team needs and document processes.
  • Facilitate successful implementation of new programs by ensuring a well-defined, efficient sales process is in place for launch.
  • Manage and coordinate all operational process for sales events such as trade shows and expos inclusive of travel and event registration etc.
  • Perform other administrative and sales support tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree is highly favorable.
  • 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or sales support role.
  • Experience in supporting sales teams in the FMCG industry is desirable.
  • Proficient IT skills, including MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and training ability.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Customer-focused mindset and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
