What are we looking for?
Skills Required:
- Proven experience in using Scala (required)
- Experience in Apache Spark, Cassandra and, Kafka (or other data streaming system)
- Proficiency in C#
- Experience with Ubuntu
- Strong skills in system administration and development
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex data problems.
Nice to Have:
- PySpark is desirable
What will you do?
You will play a crucial role in the upkeep and enhancement of one of the client's data systems. This entails a combination of system administration and development skills that you will be expected to utilize proficiently.
- Ensuring compliance with software licensing requirements to maintain legal and ethical practices.
- Detecting and proactively addressing indications of data leakage in order to safeguard sensitive information.
- Optimizing asset utilization to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the data system.
