JOB DESCRIPTION

  • The Scrum Master at Granicus works to ensure that development teams follow scrum framework values and agile practices, mentor and motivate teams to improve processes, facilitate meetings and decision-making processes, and eliminate team impediments.
  • You should have excellent knowledge of the scrum framework, with all its artifacts and techniques. You’ll also need the ability to coordinate people and projects (occasionally facilitating changes) with your mind set on deliverables. If you’re a strong communicator, a capable leader and you’re invested in Agile frameworks, we’d like to meet you.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO

  • · Lead 2 or more scrum teams using Agile methodology and scrum practices
  • · Helping the product owner and development team to achieve customer satisfaction
  • · Schedule facilitate scrum meetings
  • · Remove impediments, protect the team from external distractions and minimize disruptions so the team can deliver on commitments
  • · Help with quarterly QBR
  • · Create and maintain confluence pages for teams
  • · Resolve conflicts and issues that occur
  • · Help product owner with product backlog
  • Help the team’s retrospect and improve

WHO YOU ARE

  • · You have prior experience leading a scrum team
  • · You have prior experience with facilitating PI Planning
  • · You have excellent people and project management skills
  • · You can analyze and think quickly and to resolve conflict
  • · You are knowledgeable in techniques to fill in gaps in the scrum
  • · You have experience with successful Agile techniques
  • · You are a simple, clear, and consistent communicator with strong leadership skills
  • · You can adapt to a changing environment

  • Responsible for Granicus information security by appropriately preserving the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) of Granicus information assets in accordance with the company's information security program.
  • Responsible for ensuring the data privacy of our employees and customers, their data, as well as taking all required privacy training in a timely manner, in accordance with company policies.
