We are looking for an Senior Administrative Assistant who will serve in a multi-faceted role on a federal project. Duties will vary from scheduling meetings, taking meeting minutes, preparing meeting agendas, and following up on action items. This individual will be an important part of the greater team supporting our customer. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, preferably within a federal environment. Please note this position is contingent upon award (expected September/October 2024)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepares meeting minutes, agendas, and other program documentation
- Plans and coordinates meetings (scheduling meeting and sending invites)
- Performs data entry, filing, and reproduction of written materials
- Prepares status reports (weekly/monthly)
- Prepares and assists in project-related documents
- Applies familiarity with specialized and technical terminology to proofread and edit documents
- Establish a positive environment through leadership, employee development, and a “can do” attitude
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Minimum 8 years’ experience supporting clients
- Ability to pass a low-level background investigation (Public Trust Clearance)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changes in requirements
- Strong communication (written and verbal) skills
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strength of character, ethics, and reliability
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a Hospital or Clinical setting is a plus
- Experience with federal contracting or government clients
- Work experience with the Dept of Veterans Affairs
