Kickstarter is seeking an experienced Senior Business Development and Sales Manager to join our Performance team and lead all operational aspects of our creator acquisition efforts. This role will focus on driving growth by identifying new opportunities, fostering strategic partnerships, and building a high-performing sales system. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in performance marketing sales, a strong network within the industry, and a proven track record of building sales operations and closing customers while providing a top-tier experience. This role will report to the GM of the Performance team.

The base salary range in this role in the United States is $170,000-185,000. This position is also eligible for a performance-based bonus.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development and sales engine to drive revenue growth and expand market reach.Develop a system to identify, prospect, and establish relationships with key clients in need of performance marketing solutions.
  • Focus on building a robust pipeline across key verticals.
  • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with complementary businesses, agencies, and technology providers to drive mutual growth.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and report on progress on a regular basis to keep the team on track toward goals.
  • Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets through focused sales strategies and hands-on execution.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor movements, and client needs, adapting sales strategies to leverage emerging opportunities.
  • Foster and strengthen long-term relationships with clients to understand their evolving needs and position our offerings as solutions.

About You

  • You have 8+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management in performance marketing, digital media, or a related field.
  • You have demonstrated operational experience building sales engines for business units.
  • You have a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed targetsYou have a deep understanding of performance marketing and digital advertising landscape, trends, and best practices.
  • You have strong quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and apply insights to drive sales strategies.
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
