Job Description
DevOps Engineer
Gorilla Logic is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer, who will work with a team of developers and engineers building infrastructure and CI/CD pipeline. Our environment will require you to work effectively with your teammates, of course. But your real success will be measured by how well you couple critical thinking with self-motivation, enthusiasm and determination.
Responsibilities
*Design, build, and maintain CI/CD Pipelines using Azure DevOps*Help development teams adopt scaled trunk-based branching strategy*Integrate logging, application monitoring, and code scanning into CI/CD pipelines and applications using tools like Sumo Logic, Datadog, and SonarCloud*Create and manage serverless and PaaS infrastructure using Azure Bicep, including services like App Service, Functions, Key Vaults, SQL ---Database, Cosmos, Blob storage, etc*Partner with development team to manage application and system configuration using pipelines, key vaults, and cloud configuration sources*Partner with team to design, configure, manage, and monitor performance, scale, reliability, durability of cloud resources and workloads
Technical Requirements
*Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)*5+ years of development experience including DevOps and release management*5+ years of experience building and managing a CI/CD pipeline environment*3+ years of Linux experience in a development context*2+ years of experience with Azure DevOps and Azure Public Cloud*2+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer*Experience with shell scripting and/or scripting with Python, Go or Groovy*Experience deploying web and/or mobile applications to QA, staging and production*Experience with configuration management tools like Puppet, Chef and/or Ansible*Experience with Serverless and PaaS cloud offerings*Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (Containers and Orchestration)*Experience with infrastructure automation like Terraform and CloudFormation*Expert knowledge on source code management and Git strategies*Must have the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment*Experiencing managing Infrastructure-as-Code using yaml*Strong communication skills to interact with Agile team members*Good Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Bonus Skills
*Cloud certifications and/or cloud native infrastructure experience*Experience building and managing applications with package/project managers like Maven/Gradle, Pip, NPM, Yarn*Experience with technologies like Jenkins, Gitlab CI, GitHub Actions or CircleCI*Experience with networking, storage, and release management*Experience with Datadog*Linux foundation certifications*HashiCorp certifications
