To help us continue growing, we’re seeking an experienced Director of operations and Project Management to join a highly skilled team. The ideal candidate will have senior management experience in a dynamic setting. The role requires outstanding organizational, communication, and leadership skills and an ability to develop innovative solutions that push boundaries. The director of operations/PM will work closely with executives to strategize and develop long-term plans that usher in new levels of productivity and success for the company.

Objectives of this Role/Responsibilities

  • Drive critical initiatives from concept to launch.
  • Lead communications and change management efforts.
  • Collaborate with senior managers in the development of performance goals and long-term operational plans.
  • Drive success in Release Readiness
  • Maximize efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration.
  • Set strategic goals for operational efficiency and increased productivity.
  • Work with project managers in the development of financial and budgetary plans.
  • Analyze current operational processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement where necessary.
  • Develop strategic long-range plans to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Drive employee experience and liaise with other corporate teams to improve experiences for team members.
  • Create and manage the Professional Services organization’s fiscal operating/capital budget and expenses.
  • Create and manage a Project Management Office supporting the Service organization’s strategy.
  • Create and maintain robust Services organization performance metrics package utilized across the various business units up to and including the Board of Directors.
  • Track business results, monitoring critical success factors and KPIs.
  • Vendor onboarding, management and facilitation as needed including account setup, legal agreements, and training.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • 10+ years in a senior leadership role in a field related to our industry.
  • 10 years in a business operations role, preferably in a technology organization.
  • Masterful organizational, communication, and leadership skills, backed by previous professional success.
  • Superior knowledge of multiple operational functions and principles, including finance, customer service, production, and employee management
  • Proven ability to plan and manage operational processes for maximum efficiency and productivity.
  • Ability to streamline or implement structures and roles that boost speed and efficiency while supporting rapidly shifting business demands.
  • Strong working knowledge of industry regulations and legal guidelines.
  • Experience driving large scale change management & mind set shift.
  • Strong experience planning and executing regular town halls and offsites.
  • Ability to navigate and address conflict.
  • Very comfortable presenting to CEO & C-suite leaders.
  • Track record in leading and delivering complex large-scale projects and partnerships, often managing a range of internal and external stakeholders across a large organization.

Preferred skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business administration or related field
  • Experience in developing budgets and business plans.
  • Experience in both Program Management and Project management.
  • Superior negotiation skills for both internal and external purposes
  • Strong working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics, using business management software (ex: SAP, ERP, CRM)
